We are progressing with the campaign to alert the wider public about the crisis facing our pets when their sole owner falls ill.
The Centre for Veterinary Education (CVE) Sydney University is publishing the article in full in their online newsletter and in their journal ‘Control and Therapy’.This will quickly alert the wider veterinary profession of this situation.
We have also been contacted by some support groups who may have the means to assist in running a co-0rdinated program which is quite exciting if it all works out.
The first phase poster above will be displayed in our clinic from next week. We will be encouraging other veterinary clinics and organisations to follow suit to keep the matter front and centre in owners’ minds. The final version of the poster in some months time will hopefully contain call to action information once we have established points of support etc.
